DPD, a global player, part of “Le groupe La poste”, has a yearly volume of 2.1 billion parcels across all continents. Within Belux, DPD has recently opened up its new 60.000m2 flagship sorting HUB in Vilvoorde. This new HUB can handle up to 20.000 parcels per hour. It is automated and sustainable but also highly dependent on data. DPD has a focus to get more out of its data than ever before. Not only on the parcel level, but also from the data we capture from drivers & vans.
