Bart is a Commercial Engineer with an additional degree in IT management and was appointed CIO of Bekaert in March 2009. He was responsible for information management in the commercial department and managed related ICT projects. Then he moved to the ICT department were he became responsible for all ICT projects. After 10 years, Luc changed from industry sector and switched to IBM as CIO.Since 18 years he works as CIO for the Persgroep and has operational responsibility for the Belgian, Dutch and Danish activities.
