How do CIO’s handle the effect of digital transformation on their Business, by Steve Suykerbuyk, CFO SEB Professional Belux & Arne Goudeseune, Competence Lead Business Transformation of Flexso.

SEB Professional is the Belgian entity within the Business unit, Professional Coffee Machines of the Group SEB. In 2021 the Group SEB realized a turnover of 6 Billion euro. SEB Professional Belux together with SEB Professional Netherlands both in the scope of this project have a turnover magnitude of 45 Million euro. Focus of both entities is on B2B market activities, with three major brands in their portfolio. WMF, Scanner and Wilbur Curtis, which they sell and provide after market service.

As pilot for the rollout of SAP S/4HANA as the ERP solution and Salesforce as the FSM-tool for various countries and regions, SEB Professional Benelux faces a broad spectrum of related challenges. The recent business processes are being standardized impacting roles and responsibilities, the key users have to provide input to the project team in addition to keeping their operational jobs up and running and these changes impact how the operational jobs are being executed. And this within 2 very lean organized entities running at their own speed. During this keynote Steve and Arne will highlight the broader context, the challenges and the approach with focus on people, organization and change mgmt behind the technology rollout.

The do’s and don’ts of IT Infrastructure Transformation at Belfius, by Benoît Sepulchre, Head of Architecture, IT Infrastructure, Cloud and Security at Belfius & by Jan Depovere, Sales Leader of Kyndryl Belgium/Luxembourg.

Jan Depovere will present Kyndryl’s signature AAA-delivery method and discuss the value of AIOps. Putting theory into practice, he will showcase how the team has implemented this at Belfius. Followed by a testimonial from Benoît Sepulchre, on how you deal with the changing world of IT.

Benoît Sepulchre has over 20 years experience in IT within financial institutions. He combines a strong experience in IT management, from development to operations, with a recognized ability to drive teams and individuals. Benoît: “Therefore I like transformations from both a technical and people point of view.”

Traditional IT is shifting towards a new world where traditional datacenters are (partially) being replaced by public cloud (and all sorts of aaS). Traditional Application Development is replaced by DevOps/DevSecOps. Add to that the significant shift we see in the digital workplace where information needs to be accessible on any device, anywhere at any time. For a bank, this remains a challenge! All these changes have an impact on the network and on security. Benoît will discuss how you deal with this complex hybrid management. And the role of automation and AIOps.
