The computing capacity of any given smartphone today is comparable to a 1975 mainframe. Computing power has enabled cloud, mobile, social and big data.However, it doesn’t come close to what is about to hit us. Last week, a Dutch surgeon put a 3D printed skull on a woman’s brain. A hospital uses a robot that is able to perceive epileptic seizures and send out alarms. A famous parcel service provider investigates the delivery by drones. And just how well do you know IBM Watson? Gartner predicts that technology will replace 90% of all knowledge workers by 2030. A push back on technology is therefore not unrealistic, and new economic models will have to emerge.

This evening will give us food for thought, as we need to anticipate this perfect storm and get a grip on its potential impact.  More information
