Steven and Frederic share how Digitaal Vlaanderen is shaping the digital foundation of the Flemish government and its agencies to be resilient and sovereign: safeguarding critical infrastructure\, reducing dependencies\, and building autonomy in by design. A story about mature partnership in a fast-changing\, connected world. \n13.30 – 15.30 The Cyber Resilience Act is coming. Are you ready? by Dries Wouters\, Strategic Architect @ spotit \nThe Cyber Resilience Act is transforming how products with digital elements are designed\, secured and maintained throughout their lifecycle. In this session\, you’ll discover what the CRA means for your organisation\, which products are in scope\, and how it influences organisations that are not directly impacted as well. The CRA also does not stand on its own\, but fits in a larger legislative frame together with DORA\, NIS2\, the AI Act and others. We’ll explore the interplay between these legislations\, and see how they are shaping Europe’s digital and cybersecurity landscape. \n15.30 Visit Brewery Martens \nby our host and member Paul Bloemen \n  \n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE EVENT PARTNERS\n\n\n\n\nspotit is your trusted advisor in cybersecurity and networking solutions. Spotit offers a wide-range portfolio of innovative technologies and services\, from consultancy\, assessments\, and penetration tests to the set-up of a completely new network or cybersecurity infrastructure. SUMMARY:CIO Speaker’s Café: Resilience and Sovereignty in the fast changing world
DESCRIPTION:AGENDA \n17.30 Welcome & Registration CIO Speaker’s Café \n17.55 Introduction CIO Speaker’s Café by Peter Vermeylen \n18.00 From Resilience to Digital Sovereignty at Heidelberg Materials by Quentin Lambotte\, Information Security & Compliance Analyst Heidelberg Materials Benelux and Cornelis (Kees) van Rein\, Country Operations Mgr Heidelberg Materials Benelux \nResilience ensures Heidelberg Materials can continue operating during disruption\, starting with a clear understanding of critical business processes and their impact through Business Impact Analysis (BIA). NIS2 defines the governance\, risk-management and operational obligations\, while the NIST Cybersecurity Framework provides the structure to assess maturity and continuously strengthen our resilience. Supply-chain security is an essential part of this journey\, addressing the dependencies and risks introduced by technology providers and connected products; in this context\, the Cyber Resilience Act increasingly strengthens the security and lifecycle requirements for the technology ecosystem. Sovereign Cloud principles complement this by ensuring Heidelberg Materials retains appropriate control over critical data\, platforms and operational capabilities. Together\, these elements form a resilience roadmap toward a secure\, resilient and digitally sovereign industrial enterprise. \n18.45 34 years as CIO in a fast-growing family-owned brewery by Paul Bloemen\, CIO Martens Brewery \nAfter 44 years in IT\, Paul’s professional journey is coming to an end.It started with eight years at Sibelco\, followed by two years in the tour operating business\, and then 34 years in a fast-growing\, family-owned brewery\, an extraordinary journey. The brewery grew\, the business changed\, technology evolved at an incredible pace—and IT had to keep up. Sometimes they were ahead of the business\, sometimes they were running behind\, but they always had the same objective: to support growth\, continuity\, and change. Along the way\, he faced many challenges. Some were technological\, some organizational\, and quite a few had very little to do with technology at all. He will share some of the lessons learned from that journey. \n19.30 Closing of the event by Peter Vermeylen\, Chairman CIOforum \n19.35 Networking opportunity accompanied by food and drinks \n21.00 End of Event \n  \n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE EVENT PARTNERS\n\n\n\n\nspotit is your trusted advisor in cybersecurity and networking solutions. Spotit offers a wide-range portfolio of innovative technologies and services\, from consultancy\, assessments\, and penetration tests to the set-up of a completely new network or cybersecurity infrastructure.
