Launched in 2001, the CIO Forum is a networking community where you can share knowledge and collaborate with peers on strategic IT issues. The CIO Forum was created to allow members to ask and share information to benefit of the entire Belgian IT community. The CIO Forum provides a unique network to address the issues and trends that IT professionals face, in an increasingly changing business environment. The CIO Forum is also connected to the EuroCIO (European) Forum and the Dutch CIO Forum community. THE CIO FORUM MISSION "To become a professional and independent non-profit organization to unify and support the IT community of Belgian business." Our mission statement remains the same since 2001.
We differentiate ourselves by remaining authentic and focused to our goals and tactics because we care only about the interest of all members and partners. THE CIO FORUM TACTICS - Stimulate and organize networking, provide an interactive platform to bring IT professionals together in an open and trustworthy community.
- Focus on business strategies, with attention for IT technology opportunities.
- Bring insight into vendor solutions, focus on opportunities and risks of new IT technologies, optimize the understanding of innovations.
- Improve the linkage with the business to increase mutual understanding, to create revenue and accelerate business opportunities through improved insight in IT technology evolutions.
- Work closely with IT schools and effectively contribute to the continuous improvement of IT education.
- Ensure the financial model that allows a continuous & professional organization, with a quality and continuous “back-office” that remains a “back-office”.
